Although we spare no effort to assure a safe program, we can assume no responsibility for your safety or loss of personal equipment. In a sport of this nature an element of risk is inherent and beyond human control. A signed release (waiver) will be required of all participants. A parent or guardian release is required for students under the age of 18. These can be obtained in advance by contacting our office or downloading from our website.

Privacy Policy
Arizona Climbing and Adventure School (ACAS) will not sell, rent or trade your personal information collected on this site except as outlined in this privacy policy. Names, phone numbers, e-mail, mailing addresses, and other personal information are collected only as part of explicit registration processes such as requesting additional information or registering for one of our events. This information allows us to contact you if we need additional information.

We will not make your personal information available to anyone without your express consent unless ACAS has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Arizona Climbing and Adventure School; or (3) enforce the agreements with you.

Advance reservations are necessary. Full payment (per student) must accompany your reservation (payment in advance is required within 7 to 14 days of course starting date (depending on course). We accept personal checks, money orders, Mastercard® and Visa® (for late reservations please call us asap to reserve a spot with a credit card). Visit our Information site for further details.

A complete and accurately filled out registration form will allow ACAS Instructors to offer you the best climbing and wilderness experience possible. Your safety is our primary concern. If you do not feel comfortable sending us this form over the Internet, you may print a copy of this form and send it to us via US mail (see address at bottom of page).

Note: *Summer courses start at 6:30 a.m. - October thru May rock climbing courses start between 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m (depending on course and weather - call us), at the designated meeting point (see and print-out map). Call us the day before your course starts to verify. If we are not in the office please leave a message, if you do not hear back from us the course will still proceed at the above start time and meeting point.
*Summer courses May 15 - September 30.

Discounts only apply to scheduled courses or groups.

Tipping your instructor/guide is recommended since we do not include a gratuity in the price of our courses. Our instructors work very hard to insure your safety and in providing a fun and quality experience, so please show your appreciation.

The guide/instructor has the final word on cancelling the session due to unsafe conditions or a client jeopordizing the safety of his/her life or the guides.

Note: Hotel/resort pickup in the north Scottsdale/Phoenix area is $60 per person per day (group rates are available starting at $40 per person).

ACAS also has an overnight camping packages available which includes camping equipment, meals, campfires, coyotes and lots of weird climbing stories.
Cost: $75 per night per person

Course Cancellations
While it is unlikely, if the Arizona Climbing and Adventure School cancels a course due to insufficient reservations or conditions beyond our control (weather, etc.); alternate dates or refunds will be given as preferred. If you cancel within 14 days prior to your session, rescheduling your course can be expected. There are no refunds on gift certificates. If you fail to show at the designated meeting place at the appointed time you will be charged for the course - there are no exceptions. If you would like to reschedule within 48-hours of the course's starting date, you may do so. To receive a full monetary refund (minus a 20% handling fee), 14 days notice is required (expect a refund within 3 billing cycles or 90-days of your course date). You may also want to purchase travel insurance due to cancellations due to weather, etc. For any Groupon purchased course, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule courses no later than 12 to 24 hours before course starting date. Groupon confirmations are made by email and are sent no later than several days before course starting date.
